Spending countless hours both working and playing on the course throughout his youth, he developed a deep appreciation for the game and the intricacies of maintaining exceptional playing conditions.

He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture and Landscape Management, with a focus on golf course management, from Tarleton State University in 1999. During his time in college, he completed an internship at Texas Star in Euless, Texas, gaining valuable hands-on experience that helped shape his professional path.

Chad began his career at Northgate Country Club, serving as Assistant Superintendent for 10 months before stepping into the role of Interim Superintendent for an additional 4 months. In 2001, he joined the team at Shady Oaks Country Club, where he spent 15 years as Assistant Superintendent. During his tenure, he led numerous in-house projects, including greens construction and a full bunker renovation, further honing his expertise in all areas of golf course development and maintenance.

Since 2016, Chad has served as the Superintendent at Squaw Creek Golf Course.
